In an ideal world we would all use magickal tools which we have made ourselves, irrespective of our path. In reality, we understand that it is not always possible to achieve this.

Purchasing a mass-produced item from a pagan supplies shop may fulfil the need for a certain tool, but seldom will it truly sing to our soul. Mildred and Myrtle offer you the opportunity to own unique and beautiful magickal items, which have been hand crafted with love and proper intent – on the clean, green beautiful shores of New Zealand. By seeking out natural treasures - crystals, kauri gum, fossils, fallen branches or driftwood charged with the energies of the elements - we are able to manifest magickal tools which you will treasure forever.

We have always believed that there is a special joy in owning and using pieces which have been crafted by an artisan with love. These items have an energy and spirit all of their own – and just get better and better with time and use. All wood is gently and lovingly sanded by hand (no machines!) to a smooth and silky finish. Finally, it is treated only with a mixture of natural beeswax and oils to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. Embellishments are created with a special artisan clay, which is also use to attach crystals etc – completely eliminating the need for glue or wire wrapping.

The clay does not require heating to set it hard – which would damage wood and spoil crystals – and self-sets to a rock hard, durable finish.

New items will be posted as they manifest.

We will be offering all forms of magickal tools, from chalices (cups or goblets), athames (swords), wands and pentacles to jewellery plus myriad accessories and altar items.

If you would like to discuss having a piece made especially for you, please do feel free to get in touch. We don’t charge any extra for creating custom pieces, plus it costs nothing to ask! We’ll be delighted to try and accommodate your needs.
